What we do
Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital provides around-the-clock access to board-certified emergency medicine physicians and nursing staff. Our full-service emergency department (ED) can handle any medical emergency. And we serve everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
When you're here
Our emergency department uses a streamlined approach to get you from intake to treatment quickly and efficiently. When you arrive, a nurse and emergency department associates will begin your registration and triage process simultaneously, reducing the need to repeat yourself and getting you to one of our private treatment spaces as quickly as possible.
After being escorted to one of our private treatment spaces, you will be cared for by a team of experienced emergency care professionals led by a board-certified emergency physician. Your care team will work with you (and your primary care doctor or specialists, if you prefer) to develop an individualized care plan tailored to your condition and needs. Should you require hospitalization, we will admit you or have you transferred to the hospital of your choice.
